Streamers are a valuable members of the chess community helping the community to grow the game. When they go and stream their tournaments, they deserve to feel safe and respected, not just by their audience, but also by tournament directors, arbiters and federations. This document was developed by Matt Perchard to assist anyone planning to include streamers in their local chess community events.
Suggested Policy Line for Tournament Regulations: The tournament is committed to providing a safe and professional environment for players, streamers, staff, and spectators. Harassment, stalking, intimidation, repeated unwanted contact, intrusive filming, and behaviour that causes discomfort or fear will not be tolerated. The organisers reserve the right to warn, restrict, remove, or ban any individual whose conduct raises a safeguarding concern.
